Stunning Lighting Décor from Old Liquor/Wine Bottles

Bored of staring at those old wine and liquor bottles in your showcase? Here’s a tip! Get them out of there! Splash some paint on them, scribble something over it! And add some light to it!! Still wondering? Here are some snapshots of my work.
My first piece of bottle art.

A mosaic design one of my favorite designs. Looks stunning especially with glass. This one's done with white serial lights. The one below is the same bottle, but with Blue lights. Gives it a Neon look.

I must say... this one's my masterpiece... The print is Inspired by Goa's famous and legendary cartoonist Mario Miranda.

A view from the side.

The Back of the bottle.
What you will need for these:
  • Old liquor bottles
  • Glass pencil (to draw a rough sketch before you paint the bottle)
  • Paints (preferably Glass or ceramic)
  • Black Acrylic Paint for the borders
  • One string of serial light
You'll need to make a hole on any one side of the bottle to insert the serial lights inside. You can do this by taking the bottle to any of the local glass cutting stores where they will get your bottle drilled. You can also drill a hole if you have a drilling machine at home and if you're confident enough to do it!

Till then, happy crafting!

Spruce up your kitchen/dining table with these adorable Glass containers - Part II

A few more sets to my collection of adorable glass containers. I wanted to try them out with a few more bright colors. Also, I had some extra lace lying with me. So thought of doing these up with a little bit of lace. So two more sets; one in turquoise and magenta and one in turquoise and yellow.
The design is inspired from designs seen in Morrocan art.

The second set of a bright turquoise and yellow glass containers. Inspired by Nature!

These containers will be up soon for sale as I'm lining up stuff! :P These will be priced between Rs. 200-300. All updates for products on sale will be posted on my Facebook Page. So do stay tuned.

Till then, Happy Crafting!

Spruce up your kitchen/dining table with these adorable Glass containers

I came across these tiny little kitchen glass containers in a local shop. And as usual, I couldn’t resist picking them up to try my hands on. I guess I’ve turned into a compulsive shopper as far as such stuff is concerned. :P

I’ve tried turning these containers into adorable kitchen/dining hall décor/storage. What’s best about these is you could also use them as unique table pieces.

What you need for these containers:
  • Plain glass containers (you can get them from any local store which sells home appliances/products, gift items etc)
  • In case of the first set (red & blue), I've used glass paints and glass liners. Glass liners for the mosaic design and glass paints for the fills)
  • In case of the second one (yellow and lime green), I've used ceramic paints for a darker finish. and glass liner for the design.
  • Some colored sequins (optional)

Happy Crafting
