DIY: Colourful Paper Boat Strings for your Home

Monsoons are always great fun! As a child, I still remember tearing up pages from my notebooks to make paper boats to flow them in the small rivulets by the fields and roads. Nothing can beat the feeling of watching those small little boats float along with the flow of tiny rivulets. And I bet all you guys must have done the same :)
Well, this weeks' project is inspired by these cute paper boats. I stringed a lot of colourful paper boats together to create cute strings for the home.  Before I tell you how to do it, take a look at the finished product first.

And here are the paper boat strings stringed together using a yellow coloured thread. Finished with a few crystals at the end.
A pretty ornament for your home - string it against a glass window/door or even a mirror. To add a playful touch to your balcony, make a lot of boat strings and hang them up from the ceiling of the balcony. Lastly, you could also string it as a cute ornament against any vertical mirror in your home.
A very simple project,  all you need to do is make some paper boats from colourful paper and string them together using some coloured thread. Punch two holes on the edges of these boats and pass the tread from the bottom or sides of every boat. Make sure to tie a knot at the end of each boat. To finish, add some crystals to the end of it.
So that's it for it for this week folks! I'll see you next week with some more fun projects.

Till then,
Happy Crafting!
Karen
